"I came into my freshman year the most fit I have ever been. I usually get injured during the season, but since I started lifting and training with Jake and the RSP team I haven't had an injury since. I feel stronger and faster especially on the soccer field. I owe a lot to this program for preparing me to play at the D1 level."

"Jake and his team at Roots Sports Performance made me feel faster and stronger than ever. He made my plan very individualized for my sport and my goals going into my senior year. Even though I was only able to train with him for one month, there were clear improvements. I am so thankful for all Jake did to help me accomplish my goals!"

"For as long as I can remember I have been working with Coach Jake and there is a reason why I keep coming back. After each and every training session I can feel myself improving. Training with Coach Jake has truly made me into the soccer player that I am today. This fall was my first year at Elms and I know for a fact that the reason I entered preseason so well prepared was because of the work I did at RSP. If you are looking to become a faster, stronger and overall better athlete I most definitely recommend working with the RSP team.”

Speed Training

When pushing the body to it’s absolute limits the brain is going to default to whatever motor pattern it feels most comfortable with, be that good or bad. So the challenge at hand is…
